We live in a world that says that those who stand by Biblical values are wrong and the people’s way of thinking is the only way to follow. [Isaiah 5:20] We live in a world that has been taken over by the liberal brigade where people who live a sinful life are given preference over those who want to follow the Word of God. [Psalm 36:4]
We have abortion on demand and millions of babies have died throughout the world in the name of liberty. [Isaiah 29:15] Millions of people have died outside of the wars, in the name of liberation where the truth of God’s Word is not only being ignored but being destroyed in our Government, our schools and our universities. [Leviticus 25:17] Where is God’s truth in all of this? Where is the Gospel message? Where are we heading if all we do is abstain on the question: “Is the Word of God as important to people today as it was in the day it was written?” It is an interesting question in light of world events. God so loved the World [John 3:16] that He came down as man to put us on the right path. [John 10:1] Many Godly men and women have stood by the Word of God as being the truth that all of mankind needed and only needed, to obtain salvation. These men and women stood by the truth of the Word and in many cases died for it, as is happening today.
As the time of the Messiah’s return gets ever closer a dark cloud is once more trying to engulf the World. Jesus is the Light of the World and the darkness cannot overcome it, [John 8:12] try as it may. [Matthew 16:18] There is a light, a perfect light, a light that is shining the truth of God’s Word to the whole World, [Psalm 119:105] but the World prefers darkness. They who walk in the light will never walk in darkness, whereas those who walk in darkness will stumble and fall. [Proverbs 2:13-18]
The sanctity of Jesus is all and is above all; the enemy may win the odd battle here or there but the war for our salvation is already won. [1 Corinthians 15:25]
God is still there and nobody can remove Him, they may remove Him from our schools and our governments, they may remove Him from every walk of life but they can never remove Him from our hearts. [Ezekiel 36:26] His truth marches on through the saints He has called to serve Him. It marches in every country in the world never to be stopped, as it follows the command of Jesus: Go forth and make disciples of all Believers. [Matthew 28:20] Disciples, followers of the Leader of the truth, that Jesus demonstrated to His Disciples. Everyone called by His name is called to do something to fulfill this command; some are called to serve as the support while others may be called to go. Whatever the role each has a purpose in taking the Word to those who have never heard it. [Mark 16:15] God’s Word is not to be locked up on the shelf for when He returns. [Luke 19:11-26] It is living and active and is always trying to reach the lost and takes no delight in the loss of the wicked. [Ezekiel 33:11] It is a Word that cannot be contained by any individual; it is to be shared by all who want to listen. [1 Corinthians 1:18]
His Word brings life in all it’s meaning, it brings peace to the storm and it brings hope to the lost and the forgotten. It is life in itself. [John 10:10] This is the will of the Father and what we have been told to do; take this promise that we have in our lives and share it, wherever that may be.
Sometimes we do not know what the will
of the Father is unless we take a step into the unknown. But one thing I do know if nobody takes that step - like the people of the past - would we know about the truth here in the present, which is: Since the children have flesh and blood, He too shared in their humanity so that by His death He might destroy him who holds the power of death … and free whose who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death. [Hebrews 2:14-15] This is the message of freedom that needs to go out to the whole World so that all can be set free from fear and take on the surety of hope. [Isaiah 6:6-8]
